Warranty applies only to the original purchaser in the U.S. Non-transferable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; state laws may provide additional protections.
SOLID WOOD DISCLAIMER
Wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, color, and minor movement are intrinsic to its beauty—not defects. Our finishes are designed to age gracefully with use.
COMMERCIAL USE
Products used in businesses, rentals, or public spaces void this warranty. For commercial projects, inquire about prosales@masterofnoneco.com for extended coverage options.
Sustainability Commitment
Sustainability at Master of None Co. - Crafted to Last. Designed to Matter.
At Master of None Co., we believe the future of luxury lies not in opulence—but in intentionality, longevity, and restraint.
We build heirloom-quality furniture, not just because it’s beautiful, but because beauty becomes more meaningful when it endures. In an age of fast design, we choose slow craftsmanship—measured decisions, honest materials, and thoughtful processes that resist trend and reduce waste.
MATERIAL CONSCIOUSNESS
We source materials with both performance and planet in mind. Sustainably harvested from FSC-certified or responsible domestic sources, reducing global shipping impact. Off-cuts are repurposed into prototypes, limited-run accessories, or donated for reuse.
“Wood is a living material. We honor it by never rushing it.”
CRAFTSMANSHIP OVER CONSUMPTION
Every piece we create is made-to-order, eliminating overproduction, warehouse waste, and deadstock disposal.
Unlike mass-produced furniture, where planned obsolescence is built into the bottom line, our work is engineered to last not years—but decades.
This is where design meets ethics: if you only need to buy something once, you reduce waste by default.
Clean Finishing, Low Impact; We’ve refined our finishing techniques to ensure they’re not just beautiful but low-emission and safe. Using low-VOC finishes, natural oils, and water-based sealants that are safer for your home and our workshop.
Packaging & Delivery; The journey from our hands to your home matters, too.
Prioritizing: minimalist, recyclable, and reusable wherever possible, corrugated and biodegradable materials, regional freight partners to minimize carbon output and batch deliveries by geography.
PHILOSOPHY; Fewer, Better Things
Our pieces don’t chase trends—and neither do our policies. We’re not interested in mass production. We’re interested in what happens when you take your time. When you sit with a design long enough to remove what doesn’t belong. When you craft something that won’t be tossed, but treasured.
Sustainability, for us, is simply a byproduct of integrity. We invite you to join us in that mindset.

What wood finishes do you use?
Monocoat: a revolutionary, plant-based, hardwax oil wood finish. It works by forming a molecular bond with the topmost fibers of the wood. This results in a durable finish with great wear-, water- and heat resistance, all while keeping the natural look and feel of the wood.
Food Grade Mineral Oil & Conditioner: Food-safe mineral oil is a purified, non-toxic oil used to hydrate and protect wooden kitchen items like cutting boards and utensils. When combined with natural waxes in a conditioner, it creates a moisture-resistant barrier that enhances durability and appearance. Regular use prevents cracking, drying, and warping while keeping wood safe for food contact.
Low-VOC Water-Based Polyurethane: a clear, protective finish that emits fewer volatile organic compounds, making it safer for indoor use. It dries quickly, resists yellowing, and provides a durable, water-resistant coating on wood surfaces. This finish enhances wood's appearance while protecting it from scratches, moisture, and daily wear.
